I wish I could be there to celebrate... Running low on cash reserves though.
Oh boy oh boy. 2008 is coming to an end soon and I think I have not accomplished much! Time for me to sit down and really plan what I want. Can you imagine one fine day when you hit 40 and you realise at work that time just flies by without you realising it? Scary thought!
Some of the minor things in my life:
- read a book on Buddhism and it kinda renewed my faith. Determined to do more good things from now on.
- went on a weekend Batam trip with secondary school friends and realised Batam is actually a freaking boring place. Food is super duper cheap and good though. Basically everything else is extremely cheap there. Fairly not used to the countless number of zeros that follows behind the decent digits.
- started my Thai classes. Feedback from teacher: Lai need more revision. As usual, my spoken is fairly good in class but my writing sucks big time. Need to put in more hard work...
- don't have many friends to talk to/hang out nowadays. I have to watch Magadascar 2 with my colleague! No ill implication about my colleague but its just the whole idea that where have all my friends gone to? There seems to be some truth about another colleague's joke about me having no friends.
- increased my probability of staying single. Looking at how busy others are to the extent that they don't even have time for me... I guess its highly likely that I will stay single. Feel like going out to socialise more and make more friends but you know, its pretty tough to find someone whom you can trust and click with and willing to invest time and effort to nurture the friendship.
Oh well... anyway Jiin, you should watch Magadascar 2 soon. Its really funny! Especially King Julian I guess. He is so damn full of himself and evil at times. Haha...
