Where Is The Justice?

A friend of mine recently told me that she was sexually assaulted by her ex partner.

She held back from telling her story for a long time because she felt it was her fault. That somehow she brought it onto herself even though she clearly indicated that she was unwilling.

The bastard said to her after it happened each time, "If you didn't want it so badly why did you let it happen?"

F******* idiotic chauvinistic men who are unable to stand up to others their own size and release their anger on physically weaker women instead. Cowards who objectify women as their sex toys. "No" means "No". Which part of it do they not understand?

If it wasn't because i didn't want to cause more hurt, shame and embarrassment to my friend i would've called the police, humiliated him in front of his friends and made sure that all of his potential employers know that this is a man who is capable of rape.

I hope eventually he'll get incarcerated and sentenced to 24 strokes of the cane and chemical castration. Failing that, i hope he gets necrotising fasciitis on his penis and scrotum. That'll teach him a lesson.

I think most men are unable to comprehend on an emotional level what damage rape inflicts on women. The closest thing for men that can parallel the emotional turmoil, guilt, disgust and shame a woman suffers is castration.

This punishment approximates the most primitive form of law executed by our ancestors: an eye for an eye. You steal, we take away your hand so you can no longer do that. You rape, we remove your penis.

Most western societies are too lenient on sex offenders. According to the Sentencing Advisory Council, in Victoria, the median and average length of imprisonment for rape is 5 years.

5 years. 5 bloody useless years.

The average age of men sentenced for rape is 34 years and 5 months. 5 years later, they are released back into the society, still virile and in the prime of life, free to commit the same crimes again.

The best part is, if the sex offenders were between 30-34 years, they were most likely to be given a wholly suspended sentence. They weren't even imprisoned. What the hell is that???!!! Our justice system is sending a message that says, "You did something wrong but it's not that bad a crime. Just don't do it again next time. Off you go."

Would you be willing to let the perpetrator get off with 5 years if it was your daughter, sister, mother, partner who was raped?
