Spiderman Wannabe

Liyong and I attempted to emulate Spiderman today. We spent about 3 hours trying to scale the walls at a rock climbing centre. Liyong officially qualifies as Spidergirl, she was climbing those walls so fast even though it was her 1st time in 5 years.

Me, on the other hand, behaved like a half dead spider. Halfway up the 3 storey wall, my right leg would start shaking so hard that it was visible to Liyong who was belaying me. Then my aching sweaty palms would feel weak, and then i would just detach from the wall.

Initially i put it down to nerves, being afraid of falling and losing control. But even after i was comfortable with falling down, i still couldn't get past the halfway mark except for once when i made it all the way to the top. Woohoo!

Now my forearms are aching and i have trouble writing properly because my hand muscles have temporarily lost their ability to perform fine movements. Thank goodness it's the Easter holidays, no need for excessive writing at the moment.

In other news, we've finally closed the deal for the 1999 Toyota Corolla. YES!

Of course, a day can't be complete without some annoyance. Someone in the house is having a pissy fight with me. It's times like these when i wished i were living alone. Then, i'd question that impulse and become uncertain about how happy i'd be if i were to really live alone. *feeling shackled*
